About Holly Martin, MS, LPC-Associate

Holly Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in the state of Texas and is under the supervision of Megan Krizan, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT-S at Nova Cesta Counseling.  She graduated with a M.S. in Counseling from Southern Methodist University in 2020.

Holly specializes in adolescent, adult, and play therapy, and worked with these populations as a counseling intern at the SMU Center for Family Counseling at Frisco ISD.  Holly has a passion for working with parents and adolescents to build stronger relationships based on meaningful communication.  Holly’s experience has prepared her to work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ matters.

As people grow and enter new stages of life, things that worked in the past may no longer serve them well.  Counseling can be an opportunity to explore the rules and boundaries that are acquired over time and consider new possibilities.  Holly considers it a privilege to offer a safe space for clients to confront their circumstances and explore their personal goals.  Holly believes people of all ages have unique gifts and strengths that can empower them to re-connect to the joy in life.

Holly has been married for twenty-five years and is mom to two daughters.  She enjoys reading, traveling, eating Tex-Mex, and hanging out with her dog, Mabel.
